Day 21- 1/7/2020 (21 Day Mammon Invocation)

Tuesday, January 7, 2020.  As I prepared for the final invocation of Lord Mammon, I was no longer filled with the wistful, sad emotions of the day before.  I was, in fact, a bit excited and hopeful. I was also a bit proud of making it to the end of the cycle without missing one appointment, as there were a few obstacles and scheduling issues that needed to be finagled, as my grandpa would say.  All in all, I was in quite a good mood, and looking forward to the conversation we would have.  Lord Mammon spoke, his voice bright and cheery.

I am here.

I come to you on the final day of the invocation cycle to tell you you have pleased me and have done well.

This is a good thing, and will last you all the days of your life.

Call upon me, and I will come, and commune with you on all matters, great and small. 
You must keep up your meditations and daily practices if you are to succeed. I will ensure that this is so.

Keep to your rituals, perform them when you can, make them an exercise in greatness and power. Exude Power. Make power spark out of you, like a great bonfire bursting forth. This is the way to align with the creative force of the universe, of the soul.

I know you had questions to ask me, but we will answer them in due time.

Make yourself aligned with me. (At this point Lord Mammon aligned with me. I felt his energy melding and coursing through me, it is hard to describe.)

Be thou a Flame, let yourself burn brightly.

I love thee. I am within thee. 

We will do great things.

THAT IS ALL!

And so dear reader, the 21 day Invocation of Lord Mammon came to a close.  This may have been the end of the ritual, but the truth and power of the experience remain forever.

I am deeply grateful to have participated in this event, and I thank Joshua Savage (Zaenara) and V.K. Jehannum for making it possible.  And of course, I thank Lord Mammon for accepting me as a pupil for 21 days, and for his patience, good humor, and the eternal, unfathomable font of his wisdom.  The experience has truly changed me, and I am forever grateful.  I know I said that before. I don't care.

I did have questions for Lord Mammon, and I suppose I had some poorly conceived plan to launch them at him on the last day like a final hail mary pass, but as he indicated, we have plenty of time to cover everything.

As I draw the curtain on this series, I imagine the reader has at one point or other contemplated performing similar magick.  I would say, listen to your intuition first of all.  When something like this is presented to you and you feel that initial draw toward it, hesitation is the enemy.  Make your divination if necessary, and act.

And to you, Dear Reader, Fellow Traveler, O Longsuffering One,  do I offer my final thanks.  Thank you so, so much for choosing to take this voyage with me, and sticking around till we reached this final destination.  Here's hoping you traveled well.

Day 20- 1/6/2020 (21 Day Mammon Invocation)

Day 20.  Monday, January 26, 2020.  This was the second-to-last day of the invocation cycle, and this thought was wistfully on my mind prior to the invocation.  Lord Mammon spoke, his voice more businesslike than usual.

I am here. Write.

You are doing much better than expected. I foresee great things from you, both as a magician and a man, a scholar. You are doing well.

This is the second to last day of our invocation cycle, yes.

I would like to teach you a ritual that you can use to rid yourself of blockages, especially from the enemy. Take note:

• Stand facing East with arms raised high. State loudly:  I am the God of Me. I am the ruler of my fate, the guardian of my destiny. Whatever befalls, I make my own path, and I prevail at all times.
• Turn to the North. State loudly:  Here I stand, Man upon Earth, and the earth lies beneath my feet. I stand upon this throne, I command the rock and sea.
• Turn to the West. State loudly:  I am placed upon the throne of the Sun. I command the Stars to Shine, the Moon to rise, the worlds to spin. In my hands are the movements of the Spheres.
• Turn to the South. State loudly:  Within my Soul burns the Flame above all flames. The Flame of Satan burneth within me, and I within it. From my eyes this Flame proceedeth. From my mouth this Flame proceedeth. From my hands come lightning and thunder, and the earth trembles at my Steps.
• Throw back your head and cry aloud:

O RA NIA AL AK NO FE OT (Sounds like "ah," with a glottal stop.)
I AM MADE OF STARS, AND THEY OF ME.

This will clear out the residual leavings of your former life. Do this as many times as you must, but only once a day. You must put as much of yourself into this ritual as you can, project into it.
Imagine the Universe swirling around you, and stars being created and destroyed. This will help you on the Way. Is this clear?

Good. This is what you need, and what you get. (very emphatic)

Continue in your writing, the concept will flesh itself out in the coming days. It will become easier as you go, you will gain momentum.

Lie down.  (once again he performed a working in me).

Notes:
When I said Lord Mammon's voice sounded more business like than usual, it was as if he was waving away my wistfulness.  "Yes, yes. But we have work to do."  It did snap me out of it, and back on track with the invocation.  I realize as well (at this late date), that some of his statements may seem rhetorically out of place, such as when he says "This is the second to last day of our invocation cycle, yes."  In those cases, he is responding to a random thought I had, which of course he could hear as we were mentally melded, as it were, in invocation.  I hope that helps somewhat.  He wasn't just randomly blurting things out; but I was, in that respect, randomly writing everything he said down.
 
This ritual, which I have notated as "Mammon's Rite of Self-Purification,"  is very powerful.  If you approach it as a ritual, with all ritual preparations, and not just words you are yelling into the void, you will have powerful results.  Actually, that is good advice for any ritual, come to think of it.


ALSO:  When a spirit admonishes you to only do something once a day, take heed.  There is a very good reason for this.  I don't know what it is, but I will never, never find out anyway, so it's just as well.  I hope you take this advice as well, dear reader.

EDIT- (I forgot to mention this previously, even though it had been on my mind throughout the day.  Boo.)  The discerning reader will no doubt have noticed that in Mammon's Rite of Self-Purification, the corners are called from East to South in a counter-clockwise direction, or "widdershins."  This is the classical direction of banishment, of unwinding and returning.  In this sense, it is truly meant to drive out the vestiges of the enemy, and also create a strong foundation behind for the building or rebuilding of the Magician on the path.  I won't get into all my speculation on the ritual, but let me present in counterpoint the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, which being performed deosil and calling upon the names of the enemy, is without a doubt an invocation rather than a banishing.  The MRSP draws out the enemy, and the LBRP calls him in.  I would strongly advise beginning magicians to forgo using the classic LBRP completely.

In terms of banishing unwanted presences, try the Star Ruby on for size, or create your own ritual.  I would caution, however, that the Chaos technique of  "banishing with laughter" is not always effective for all entities... but once again, your mileage may vary.  Thanks for reading, end edit.

Day 19- 1/5/2020 (21 Day Mammon Invocation)

This was Sunday, the 5th of January.  Only three days remained in the 21 day invocation of Lord Mammon. 
I set out all the preparatory items, and immersed myself in the ritual.  The presence of Lord Mammon washed over me.


I am here, I am within you.


Listen to the words I speak.  You are engaged in folly; this is not acceptable.  The folly is believing in the path of righteousness.  You must build a new path within you, a path clear of the strictures of scriptures.


Where is it written that a man follow blindly, and be recompensed for his deeds?


(I didn't speak it, but my thoughts went directly to the source, that instrument of slavery, the Bible.)


Yes, in a book of Lies.  This is not acceptable.  You must clear yourself of the influences of this book, and move away from them.  You must not ally yourself with forces that only seek your destruction.  People and things of that nature are not to be tolerated.


Be thou strong.  Be aware, be mindful of the influences of the enemy, and thwart him at every turn.


Lord Mammon, I have to interact with my fundamentalist parents and relatives on occasion.  They claim to "pray" for me, and exhort others to do so.  How should I deal with this?

Block them, shield yourself from them, do not interact.  Pray to us (spirits) for guidance.  During these times, we will come and protect you.


Lord Mammon, you said I was engaged in folly.  Where does this folly lie in me, and how can I be freed from it?


It lies in the inner workings of your heart and mind.   You have the ideas of the enemy ingrained into your personality and soul, and must cast them out.   I will show you how.  We will perform a ritual together and take care of this.


I will be with you. Keep up your practices. That is all.


Notes: 
In a draft version of this post, this was the point where I launched into a bitter polemic concerning my religious upbringing.  I realize now that this was unnecessary.  Instead, let me say this.


There is an old saying that goes along the lines of, "That which can heal can also kill, and that which can kill can also heal," or something like that, an apothecary's dictum.


Please be wary, dear reader, of those who "pray" for you; like as not, they will be "praying"  for you to change, or fall in line with some ideology they hold, or become or do something.  As an example, in my childhood I heard a very close relative exhort the "lord" to use "Whatever means necessary" to bring some straying relative back to the fold.  Even as a child, this evoked a shudder from me... what if the relative became very ill, or lost a limb, or some other horrifying "means" meted by the deity as necessary?


This, fellow practitioner, is obviously a curse.  More insidious though are the inroads that prayers are attempting to make on your Will.


In closing, might I offer you these words of advice:  Be aware, be wary, and beware. Keep your defenses up!  And PREVAIL.
